BIOGRAPHY
Mr. Smith joined the firm in February 2020. His practice area primarily focuses on land use and real estate matters, advising his clients through the complexities of property development and land use regulations, in addition to a wide array of real estate transactions. He also assists clients in navigating the condemnation process and representation of such cases. Mr. Smith also has experience in economic development, helping clients with various economic development incentives and related matters.
Mr. Smith was born and raised in Midland/Odessa. He graduated from Texas Christian University with a Finance Real Estate degree in 2013. After obtaining his undergraduate degree and prior to attending law school, Mr. Smith worked for a large financial data and technology company in Dallas. Mr. Smith obtained his law degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in May of 2019 and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2019 shortly thereafter.
