BIOGRAPHY

Hilary McMahon has 10 years of transactional law experience, including over five years with the City of Denton’s City Attorney’s office. She has expertise in municipal law, planning and land use, code and ordinance drafting, code enforcement, and open records requests.

Hilary is a graduate of Southern Methodist University – Dedman School of Law and is licensed to practice in Texas. She spent the formative years of her law practice honing skills in high volume title curative and real estate due diligence efforts. She thrives on assisting her clients in fine tuning processes and procedures to stay current with legislation and court precedent so that her municipal clients can better serve their communities.

Before becoming a lawyer, Hilary earned her bachelor’s degree in general studies from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. Hilary’s background in client serving roles – from retail sales to legal assistant prior to bar passage – instilled a commitment to client service that informs every element of her legal practice today.
